5. I am an American, and things are no worse now than before Trump 2.0. They are worse than "COVID times," and seemed to start getting worse c2023 (rough guesstimate).

My answer also depends some on what "things"... as the recent conversation has been on prices/affordability of everyday commodities, this is my answer.
